28 Food and Beverages Icons

Non-fandom icons this time...and it's all food related. Mostly desserts and a few drinks. This was what I was doing until Heath Ledger interrupted me. ^^ I was going through a moment of food cravings so I decided to make use of it and turn it into icons. Not sure if anyone's all that interested in these types of icons, but umm...enjoy anyway?

*notices the poke* ^^ Sorry about the lack of updates...I've been a bit busy but I was working on a fairly large batch of overdue Harry Potter's GoF that several people requested so that should be up soon along with some other updates following that. :) Thanks for keeping track of my journal and all though- makes me feel all special. :D

Aww, I see. That's alright, everyone gets busy with other stuff, lol. I know how that is. Just checknig in, making sure you're alright. I don't like Harry Potter but I am still on the lookout for those Christina Applegate icons. Hehe. I love your icons anyway so whatever icons you make, I'll be happy to check out. =D I check your journal like everyday, at least twice a day. You're on my favorites and also under my resources @ shatteredxicons. ^_^

I find this really odd of me asking this.... but i just wanna ask, how do you upload your textures? I'm having a really big problem finding a place... But you don't have to tell me... It's ok... but... sorry abou the odd question... and plus, I really like your work... SO MUCH, i wanna get some food... MMmmm... hahah

*blinks* You check my journal that often? *is completely flattered and blown away* Thank you very much- it's a great compliment to me and I'm really glad you like my icons even though I seem to keep iconing subjects you don't know or like. ^^;;; I'm not one of those iconists who's able to update their journal with icons every single day though- because I spend quite a bit of time on each of my icons, etc...so your Christina Applegate may not come that quickly. Which reminds me...do you know any sites that have good pictures of her? I'm having trouble finding pictures of her to icon. :p

Not odd at all. :) I actually upload the textures at my own website's server since I have my own domain that I pay for. But if you need a place to host your textures...there are several ways you can go about doing this I think. yousendit.com is good though it's annoying that the links expire after 7 days or 50 downloads. You can always try signing up for free website accounts like at sitesled.com or geocities...except those have very little bandwidth which can be a problem. The best place people seem to be talking about these days is at deviantart. Apparently they allow files to be hosted and downloaded or something so you can try them?

Anyhow, thank you for the compliment...and I'm really glad you like my work! :) I think we all need some food after staring at this batch. I was hungry throughout the entire time I was making them. xD

Yeah, I love your journal. I still like to look at your icons even though I don't know most of the people you make icons of. I did love those dessert icons you posted on may 30th. =D And your textures are amazing as well. ^_^

Aw, thank you! <-- is beginning to sound like a broken record. I hope you at least found good use of the textures though. :D

Ah, thank you for the link...that helps a great bunch! I shall be perusing the site during my more free hours later on so that I can grab some nice pictures of her to icon. I hope I do a decent job in iconing her though. Text is going to be difficult. ^^;

Aww, lol. Hehe. I'm sure you'll do a fine job. ^_^ You can put "The Sweetest Thing" on one of the icons, it's a movie she starred in. =D

And yeah, I do love the textures. They help a lot. ;)

Deviant ART would all depend on the type of thing she wishes to upload. I'm not sure that they appreciatte direct linking either ;) Textures would be find, but it'd mean everyone on deviantart can download them so if she wishes to keep them as exclusives that wouldn't be ideal.

Hmm...oops, I guess that wouldn't work for you either. :p I just noticed tons of people using them as the place to share their textures- I personally have never signed up for a deviantart account so I have no idea how they really work. :p Sorry I couldn't help more- aside from doing it through a website or yousendit, I'm not sure what other options there are...

Ah, yes I've seen that movie. It's with Selma Blair and Cameron Diaz right? Cute movie. :D I'll be sure to write that somewhere in one of the icons!

I'm actually supposed to post another set of textures soon though I haven't gotten the chance to zip them up and do the preview image. ^^; Glad to know they're useful for you!
