The Fifth Element challenge at abc_icons

*gasp* Icon update! ^^; I've been wanting to give one of those abc challenges a try- and since I've always wanted to make icons for The Fifth Element, I signed up for it at abc_icons a few days ago to hit them two birds with one stone. ;p I absolutely love this movie- I thought everything about it was just really cool. :D As usual, I tried to play with the style to match the movie's feel/mood and I hope I've managed to achieve at least a little bit of that. Comments greatly loved, you know that. :3

LOL...well, I'm glad you guys stuck it out rather than switch to decorating shows- otherwise you'd miss out on one great movie, and I'd miss out on one great comment from you about these icons. ;D

And ah...I'm giddy that you thought the barcodes (font, actually) were fitting. I've been wanting to use them for the longest time and finally thought that it goes hand in hand with The Fifth Element. Great to know someone noticed the connection. ^^

Ahh, you're so right! I don't understand though- it's such an awesome movie. :3 And btw...I love that icon you're posting with! Gary Oldman is <3 and Fifth Element is <3...you can't go wrong. :D

As for the tables, it's just a basic html table coding. Here's a table tutorial I wrote a long time ago on how tables work. :)

There's really a lacking in The Fifth Element icons, eh? It's such an underrated movie. :p

As for the barcode fonts- I actually used 4 different ones I think? One is actually called barcode, another one is code xero...and the other two had random letters as names. *_* If you're interested in just barcodes though, my friend actually just put a barcode brush set here that you can look at. :)

Oh yay for abc claims! :D It's pretty interesting trying to think of corresponding words, etc- and sometimes easier because it helps you narrow down what text to put down. ^^; And it's only 26 icons so it's not too bad. I noticed you claimed Hyde! Can't wait to see them. :D

Oh...that was basically a table coded in HTML. If you're not familiar with how HTML tables work, you can take a look at this tutorial that I once wrote a long time ago. It gives you the basics of coding tables and you can use that knowledge to code up any kind of table you want. Hope I finally understood you correctly!

Uh...then you'll have to find someone else to help you, because I never code HTML stuff on word (and it's often recommended not to) so I have no idea how to go about doing so. Sorry!
